The Burundi's coffee production is mostly carried out by small producers, being a source of livelihood for about 30% of the Burundian population. The farms are usually small, less than one hectare it is estimated that each farmer will have on average between 50 and 250 feet of coffee.

Cultivated at about 1100m above sea level, this bourbon was processed through the natural method, which allows a very balanced sweetness and acidity in espresso.
